Heather Ellis Banks

Heather Ellis Banks grew up in Knoxville. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in May 2000. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in May 2004 and was admitted to practice law in November 2004.

Heather worked for Cindy Lawson & Associates from May 2005 to March 2011 as a consumer bankruptcy attorney and left for a few years to work as a staff attorney for the Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee.  She returned to private practice with Cindy Lawson & Associates, P.C. from November 2015 to August 2021. She joined Mostoller, Stulberg, Whitfield, Allen & Tippett in September 2021. 

 

Heather is an Associate Attorney at Mostoller, Stulberg, Whitfield, Allen & Tippett, focusing primarily on education law, probate, wills, powers of attorney, and consumer cases.  She is also a Chapter 7 Panel Trustee in the Eastern District of Tennessee at Knoxville.
